Yahoo Messenger Multi-ID in one Computer

Normally, we only can login our user name or ID in yahoo messenger with one ID, especially if you used an official yahoo messenger. But we also understand that we can use another ID with a simple step by making another public ID. With a public ID we can chat with different ID in one login user name. But, we cannot be join chat room with two or more public ID in the same time. We can only chat with two ID or more in the same time by using Multiple ID. We can use multiple ID [MultiID] to enter the chat room with more than one ID. The maximum ID you can be entered to the chat room depending on the willing of your self and the connection of the internet you have. If the connection is too slow, it can be make your self disconnected.

[Note: This is for Windows XP, Vista, 7 (32-Bit Only)]

Multi-ID can be achieved by some simple step. If you have enough experience and knowledge with your computer, especially working with register edit, you can achieve multiID by editing your yahoo messenger register in windows.

Create Multi ID Manually

First Just open register windows editor through Start >> Run >> regedit (type and press enter).
Then open the registry in this location

    HKey_Current_User\ Software \Yahoo\Pager\Test

You will see default registy entry. Now just add another Dword value by right click on the
windows regitry editor than chose New then Dword Value. Then rename the New Value #1 to plural.
Remember You have to change the New Value #1 to plural or you will face that the Multi ID not
work. Double clicks the plural and edit the Dword value hexadecimal to value data 20,
or right click on plural and click modify. After you done with this steps,
now you are ready to use Multi ID of yahoo Messenger. Click on the shortcut icon of
yahoo messenger as many as you want to open Yahoo Messenger.


Value name: plural

Value data: 00000020     *Hexadecimal
